Mold Containment Services in Jacksonville

Trust our expert team for comprehensive mold containment services, safeguarding your property from further damage.

What Is Mold Containment?

The initial step in restoring your home or business involves containing mold colonies. Our technicians employ methods like negative air chambers to isolate mold and halt its spread within affected areas. During cleanup, we deactivate all fans and HVAC systems to prevent microscopic spores from dispersing. Additionally, our technicians may install physical barriers in affected locations to curb further spread.

Our Mold Containment Process in Jacksonville

1. Assessment

A thorough inspection is conducted to identify the extent of the mold and the areas that need containment.

2. Initial Mold Containment

Containment barriers, such as plastic sheeting or heavy-duty tarps, are installed to seal off the affected area from the rest of the property. This prevents mold spores from spreading to clean areas.

3. Negative Air Pressure

Air scrubbers equipped with HEPA filters are used to create negative air pressure within the contained area. This ensures that any airborne mold spores are captured and filtered before being released outside the containment area.

4. Sealing Openings

Any openings or gaps in walls, floors, or ceilings are sealed with plastic sheeting or tape to prevent the escape of mold spores.

5. Cleaning and Disinfection

The contained area is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected using specialized solutions to remove mold growth from surfaces.

6. Monitoring

Throughout the containment process, air quality monitors may be used to assess the concentration of mold spores in the air. This helps ensure that containment measures are effective.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I used this company after a pipe burst in my home. Charged me $3000 for setting up 10 fans for 2 days. Never pulled baseboard never vented the walls. Didn’t show up for 24 hours. Do not use this company. I’m filing complaints with the BBB among others.

We were assigned Bradley Tomlin as our project lead. Bradley was fantastic; he kept us informed every step of the way and made sure we understood what would happen next. Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. These professionals are exceptional! Just two months after moving into our new home, we discovered that a sewer drain line was mistakenly not connected to the septic system. This oversight resulted in two months' worth of bathroom waste leaking into the home's insulation and crawl space, creating a significant mess. United was recommended to us by our plumber, and they responded immediately, visiting us the same day to provide an estimate and begin the necessary repairs. They meticulously removed the contaminated insulation from beneath the house and thoroughly cleaned the area. Despite the unpleasant nature of the task, their team handled everything with outstanding professionalism.
