A Little About Us
We didn’t start out as a big company. In fact, our story begins with two guys, a lot of hustle, and a dream. Lajos and Endre grew up in Hungary and moved to the U.S. with the same goal: to build a better future. Endre put his energy into mastering interior finish work—think crown molding and detailed trim—while Lajos worked long days at a small restoration company and juggled extra jobs at night.
It wasn’t easy, but along the way, they both discovered something they truly loved: helping people put their homes back together after disaster. That shared passion sparked an idea, and in 2008, they made it official—United Water Restoration Group was born.
What started as a small operation quickly grew, thanks to a lot of hard work, a deep understanding of the industry, and a commitment to doing right by people. By 2015, they’d expanded the vision with a franchise model, and today, United Water Restoration Group has 30+ offices across the country.
