Water damage can often catch homeowners and businesses by surprise. Whether it's an overloaded washing machine, a fractured pipe, or a leaky roof, water damage adds up quickly and only becomes worse the longer it goes unaddressed. Many building materials are prone to absorbing water, as well as furniture, upholstery, and cabinetry. Wooden fixtures will warp and become misshapen, while plaster and drywall start to crumble and fabrics become host to mold and bacteria that can harmful to you and your family. Our removal process is simple and effective: stop the source of the water, remove the water, dry out the affected areas, treat the affected area with mold preventatives and restore any affected structure or damaged areas.
Fire damage can be difficult to deal with, so it's important you work with a company that has a solid plan to deal with the lingering damage caused by fire. Our restoration process includes eliminating the horrific smoke odors. To remove the source, we use a combination of cleaning products, hot thermal fog, unsmoke products, ozone, and odor counteractants. We provide fire restoration services for single family homes, multifamily properties, and business properties, including but not limited to structural damage assessment, emergency boardup and tarping, structural bracing and shoring, removal of soot deposits and smoke, cleaning of all surfaces, water and chemicals removal, demolition and rubble removal, and reconstruction.
One of the most common misconceptions regarding mold damage is that it may be removed by spraying the surfaces with supplies like disinfectants, biocides or cleaners. Unfortunately those products will not solve the problem. When mildew spores and other components of the mold enter the air, they still present a health risk to anyone exposed. Our mold remediation process encompasses distinguishing and addressing mold problems in a structure. Mold remediation and cleanup prevents the spread of mildew by isolating areas affected by the mold, removing the affected materials and eliminating condensation and moisture sources - the explanation for the reason behind the mold - so as to reestablish a healthy atmosphere. This is done through a process of Assessment, Containment, Filtration, Removal, Drying, Repair, and testing the affected areas.
Our highly trained technicians will conduct a thorough disinfection and sanitizing treatment to mitigate the spread of any pathogens. This process also protects against an assortment of biological threats, like the flu and other viruses. The use of state-of-the-art equipment allows our experts to effectively assess, disinfect, and sanitize areas of possible contamination. We will clean and apply an appropriate EPA registered disinfectant in accordance with the application directions provided by the manufactures label. We use the most powerful professional grade germicidal cleaners available and that are on the EPA recommended list of approved cleaners. United Water Restoration follows all CDC protocols in regards to cleaning areas that might be contaminated. We will clean and disinfect any business or home large or small! Then do a thorough cleaning of high-touch surfaces (e.g. tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, light switches, remotes, handles, desks, toilets, sinks) by spraying and wiping with powerful EPA approved broad spectrum disinfectants. Should you believe to be in a contaminated area, call immediately for assistance. Do not take chances with your health, call United Water Restoration.
Once your remediation is complete, it's time to restore everything back to normal. Had a great experience with United Water Restoration this weekend. The responsiveness of the tech on the phone, ease of scheduling (especially for a weekend), their thorough evaluation, honest estimate and recommendations were better than we expected for a disaster that we thought we had on our hands. Techs Joe and Brian were great. Knowledgeable and explained the entire situation and anticipated work very well. They helped put our worries at ease and we are so grateful for their work today. I will hands down recommend this company and the techs that we had today to anyone.
Theresa and Bryan came right out to inspect my concern of possible mold due to water issues. They found no problem which put me at ease. It should also tell you they're an honest business. Thank you so much for your time.
My family is safe thanks to Joseph Balabous operations manager. We called United water restoration a few days ago to check for water damage and mold because my family's health has been declining and our air quality in our Townhouse was feeling very poor on 9/29/19 Our washer hook up was leaking bad our office and maintenance made us wait 4 days before they fixed the leak and was notified of the water damage caused by them they said the remedied The issue so we thought they fixed the damage as well so we let it be recently we had a leaky faucet in our kitchen and i took pictures of the damage and my fiancee and i called because it looked bad and when we called United Water Restoration Joseph Balabous response time was amazing and i showed him the photos before he entered and when he used his moisture meter and got a control of 167 then the meter read 999 from the washer dryer location as well as almost the entire floor in front of the kitchen sink it read 208 confirmed water damage cause by the 2 leaky faucet however he said the washer dryer leak was what caused most of the damage and he said this townhouse is not safe you and your family need to get out . Thanks to these awesome guys my family is on the right track thank you all and god bless
My wife and I had neglected our shower for some time. We feared we had a case of black mold. I called them at 7:30AM, had a truck out to my place the same day. They were even over 15 minutes before the agreed time. Joe put my mind at rest and even gave me a cleaning solution to use to fix the issue. It turned out our problem wasn't as big as my wife and I dreamed up in our heads. Joe made sure I understood how to get the issue fixed myself and didn't make me feel silly for the call. Better safe than sorry. If we even have any large issues, they'll be the first company I call, hands down.
Joe came out in about 30 minutes from first contact and was extremely professional, honest and courteous about the water we had in our basement. I would highly recommend this company and Joe, he really went the extra mile for us when we really had no idea what the next step was!
