We experienced a sewage back-up into the house caused by tree roots which had choked off our sewer line to the county sewer. The result was a smelly, wet, mess in the basement. The plumber turned to me with a recommendation. It was the first time I had ever heard of the “United Water Restoration Group." It was Sunday, but I called anyway, I assume that I got human from an answering service. However, within a short time of chatting with that lady, Oscar called me. He got all the details, promised me a crew on Monday morning. I think you can imagine how happy I was to see Ishan and William show up that morning on time. Ishan and William went right to work. I had been fighting the flow with a large wetvac, but it's amazing how well things went with the right guys wielding the right tools. They worked quickly and efficiently, and I don't remember them taking any breaks. The place got cleaned, soiled stuff collected up for disposal, disinfectant laid down and scrubbed, and then excess cleaner sucked up. Then they brought in a huge dehumidifier and some industrial fans. Briefed me on next steps and took off. Two days later, Ishan and William showed up to finish it off. They touched up a few things as the sewer line misbehaved before it was completely fixed. Then they removed the fans and the dehumidifier and things were as good as new. Everyone was professional and friendly. Oscar is going to bill my insurance company directly. I've been in my house for 28 years. I have never needed a restoration service before.
